Solar PV

Solar cells are commonly employed in calculators and watches. Several cells can be connected to form modules or panels that can then be positioned on, for instance, rooftops of houses and office buildings.

The Solar PV systems convert daylight into electrical energy and any household or business which installs such a system can then participate in the government’s Feed-in Tariff (Clean Energy Cashback) Scheme.

Solar PV panels can generate more than 50% of your annual electricity consumption. Installation costs for a typical household are between £7,000 and £14,000. Due to the feed in tariff, costs can be recouped in around 10 years.

Typically, a household could earn around £1,311 a year. Savings on soaring electricity costs will continue long after 25 years.

Who we are and how to find us

Morrissey Electrical & Building Ltd are an Electrical Contractor based in Banstead, Surrey with over 40 years experience and a growing workforce. Our company have a permanent staff of 7 electricians and carry public liability for £5m.

All of the work contracts are carried out mainly in an area within 70 miles of London. The work is carried out directly to approximately 1/5 of all Surrey Schools, Colleges and Grant Maintained Schools.

Our company is on the Surrey County Council and Sutton Council Approved list of Contractors for Portable Appliance testing, fixed installation testing and general contracting.
